A man has been charged after an XL Bully dog attack in Warrington left an 84-year-old pensioner with life-changing injuries.

A dog attacked a man in a garden. Police think the dog was an unregistered XL bully. The dog got out from a house nearby. The man is a pensioner; he is eighty-four. The dog attack left him badly hurt.
His injuries are serious and life-changing. Right now, he is still in the hospital, very ill. Police arrested a woman, age 29, on Tuesday. They thought she had a dangerously out-of-control dog. She’s now out on police bail for now.
On Wednesday, police made another arrest. A 30-year-old local man is in custody. He is suspected of the same dog-related crime. Today, Thursday, police charged the man. He will go to court this afternoon. Detectives investigated the dog attack in Warrington.
Sean Garner was arrested on Wednesday. This followed the Monday dog incident. He is thirty years old and lives in Liverpool. Garner is charged with two things. He owned a dangerous, out-of-control dog. This dog caused serious injury to someone. He also possessed a fighting dog.
Garner is in custody right now. He will go to Chester Magistrates’ Court today; it’s Thursday. Remember the woman? She’s out on conditional bail. The victim’s condition remains critical. People who live there saw many police.
