Hey, listen to this sad news from Bradford. A man was just charged with murder. His name is Sharaz Ali, age 39. This relates to a house fire that happened last year.

The fire sadly killed a mom and her three kids. Bryonie Gawith, 29, died in the fire. Her children, Denisty, Oscar, and Aubree also perished. They were nine, five, and 22 months old.

Two other men were previously charged with murder too. Their names are Mohammed Shabir and Calum Sunderland. Both men pleaded not guilty in court. They are awaiting trial for the deaths.

The trial includes Bryonie, her children, and her sister, Antonia. Antonia Gawith survived but someone tried to murder her via starting the fire. Ali was at the fire scene and initially arrested. He became unconscious and ended up in the hospital.

Doctors initially thought he would not make it. However, his health improved a lot in short order. Now, he faces charges in court.

The fatal fire occurred on Westbury Road. It happened in the early morning hours of August 21st. Authorities responded to the call around 2:07 a.m. Bryonie died at the scene about 40 minutes later.

The children’s dad, Jonathan Birtle, shared how devastated that he was. He and Bryonie were together for a long time, he said. They lived a good life together previously. He described Bryonie as beautiful and a loving mother. He also loved Oscar, Aubree, and Denisty with all his heart. He misses them dearly and always will, he claimed emotionally.
