Toby Hamilton was caught fly-tipping in Dyfi Forest by NRW. He claimed he was hunting rabbits, but was fined £2,270.

They caught him fly-tipping! Natural Resources Wales used surveillance cameras. His truck was seen there in July 2024. This happened on three separate days. Waste was found.
The truck’s plate led them to Hamilton. “Fly Tipping Wales” investigated the case. He now has to pay £2,270. That covers fines and costs. Hamilton was questioned.
He denied fly-tipping. He claimed he hunted rabbits. He was only in the forest briefly! He pleaded guilty in court. This was at Aberystwyth Magistrates Court. Natural Resources Wales took him there February 4th.
He was fined £600. That fine was for illegal waste. He got a £150 fine too. It concerned a byelaw offense. Also, he paid a £220 surcharge. He must pay £1,500 for prosecution costs. The whole penalty equals £2,270.
