A woman was sexually assaulted after being followed on Iffley Road in Oxford. Police are seeking witnesses.

On February 28, around 5:10 AM, a man followed a woman who was walking alone on Iffley Road. He caught up to her between Magdalen Bridge and St Mary’s Passage. Sadly, he touched her inappropriately over her clothes.
The woman then turned to face him, after which he ran off toward Iffley Road. The woman is in her 30s thankfully, she wasn’t hurt.
The police now need some help with this case. They described the man who did it as appearing to be of mixed ethnicity, looking to be in his early twenties, and under six feet tall and pretty slim. He had dark, curly, short hair, and wore dark clothes.
Police ask if you saw anything. Thames Valley Police wants witnesses to step forward, as this assault happened in the city. The police issued a statement on March 3.
