A car hit a pedestrian. Police and ambulances showed up quickly. They found a man who was hurt, and crews took him to a nearby hospital. His injuries are not life-threatening, luckily.

The car’s driver drove away before the police got there. Nobody has arrested the driver yet. The police are still investigating this situation.

Police got the call early this morning from the London Ambulance Service. They reported the car hit a man on Manchester Road, Isle of Dogs. The Air Ambulance also arrived to help.

The man they treated is seventy-five. They took him to a nearby hospital. His injuries were thankfully not dangerous. The driver had already left the location, and police have not arrested anyone so far.

Paramedics treated a man immediately, before they took him to a trauma center rapidly.
