A 23-year-old woman is missing from County Durham after her abandoned car sparks a 100-mile search in Teesdale.

Police started a big search for her, spanning over 100 miles in the Teesdale area. Teams looked near where she parked her car. They used sniffer dogs and air support from mountain rescue and police to help find her. Weather makes searching tough.
Jenny is tall, around 6 feet, with long dark hair. She is a keen long-distance runner. She wore a blue John Deere hoodie and dark jogging bottoms when last seen. Her family added that she might have a green jacket, and her hair was possibly in a ponytail.
Police think she may have driven toward Barnard Castle. They are searching a wider area of Teesdale now and ask for any information to help find Jenny. People should not search themselves; it could hurt the search.
Police looked at her phone, smartwatch, and running apps for clues. Sadly, no results came from those efforts. The police are very worried and keep looking for her, hoping to reunite Jenny with her family soon.
Mountain rescue thanked local farmers for their help. Other rescue teams joined the search from Cleveland, Kirkby Stephen, and more. Over 30 rescuers and three search dogs are helping, checking moorland between Eggleston and Stanhope.
