M&S will build a foodhall on the old Milk & More site after approval from Croydon Council. Project includes studio spaces and jobs.

The old dairy has three buildings. Their fronts have local historical status. Workers will fix and restore them for public use, giving these old buildings a new life.
This project should create jobs. About 120 jobs should open up, with fifty-five of those jobs at the M&S store. This boost will positively impact local residents.
The plan includes studio spaces as well. They will build twenty “creative” studios and two bigger open-plan studios. These studios will sit above the new car park.
Grove Property submitted the building plan. They worked with M&S on the store’s design. Purley residents mostly support this change; ninety-six percent backed Grove’s plan.
Croydon’s mayor, Jason Perry, also commented. He said the project shows good teamwork, where investors worked with the community and council. They designed a project for everyone.
