Remembering Matt Beacham, 58, a charity champion from Welford, known for his Guide Dogs fundraising and infectious happiness.

He was a charity champion from Welford, known for his fun fundraising and spreading good vibes. Matt always thought of others first.
He raised money for Guide Dogs and funded 18 dogs over ten years. Right now, they are funding a 19th puppy, planning to name it Matt.
The Herald newspaper covered his charity work. He did crazy walks all over the UK, bungee jumped off Verzasca Dam, and even swam the Avon River.
Matt owned railway carriage cafes on the Greenway in Stratford and Milcote. Many in Stratford knew him this way.
Louise, his wife, is heartbroken. He leaves behind his brother Simon, and sisters Sarah and Marc, who will miss him greatly. He was a loved brother-in-law and uncle
The funeral is at Vale Crematorium in Evesham on March 11th, with the service starting at 12 noon. The Herald will have a longer story next week.
