Two men were caught on camera stealing phones from Mobile Master in Stamford. Police are asking for help identifying them.

This happened on Stamford High Street. The break-in started late Sunday, around 10:24 PM.
The guys wore dark clothes. One had a hood up, the other wore a dark cap. They stole about £3,000 worth of stuff. They broke the front door’s glass, and fixing it will cost about £400.
Muhammad Umair owns the shop. It’s a family business. He said this is the second time they’ve been robbed since 2021. Before, thieves took about £70,000 worth of goods.
Since then, they improved security. They even remove stock each night. Insurance won’t cover it, as they lack required shutters because the council forbids this.
Internal shutters still expose window stock. Removing it would take too much time. Customers are supporting Muhammad and staying positive.
Muhammad said they aim to please customers in Stamford. He’s from Peterborough and focuses on customer needs. He doesn’t pressure them to buy things.
He prioritizes customers and tells staff to be polite, even to racists. He appreciates the Stamford people, saying they welcomed him three years ago and treat him like family.
He gives free items to NHS workers. He helps those who keep Stamford safe and doesn’t mind those who may abuse his kindness. A few items don’t hurt his business. He believes in karma.
The police ask for help identifying the thieves. If you know the men, call Lincolnshire Police at 101. Mention crime number 76 2402 2025. You can call Crimestoppers anonymously too. The number is 0800 555111.
