Harrison’s Hall in Mold shuts down after reopening last April, citing cost of living crisis.

The venue had just reopened last April. It replaced Plas Hafod hotel then. The hotel had to close the month before that. Cappacavella Leisure Ltd took it over later in the year. Harrison Buckley ran Harrison’s Hall for them.
Buckley said tough times forced closure. He cited the cost of living crisis. He stated running a private business became impossible. High business rates made things unsustainable. He used all his savings to try to save the business. Now, he faces big financial problems.
He apologized for any booked events. He wishes his clients the best. The building is a Grade II listed house. It’s in Gwernymynydd. It has eleven bedrooms. Nine acres of nature surround it.
Suppliers are helping couples now. They had weddings booked there. Suppliers promise to find new dates and spots. Vivaldi Flowers spoke on social media. They feel really sad about the Hall’s closure. They thought of the staff. They also thought of affected couples.
