Two more arrested after a van struck two men on Breck Road in Poulton. Investigation is ongoing; police seek witnesses.

A Ford Transit van hit two pedestrians. Both men went to a hospital for treatment. One man, in his 20s, suffered serious injuries. The other man, in his 40s, sustained minor injuries.
The van left the scene after the crash. Police are investigating this as an isolated event, believing there is no wider public threat. Earlier, they found the van and arrested a 32-year-old man from Great Eccleston.
He was arrested for multiple charges, including attempted murder, dangerous driving, and impaired driving. He remains in police custody. Today, two additional arrests occurred.
A 23-year-old man, also from Great Eccleston, was arrested for attempted murder and is currently in police custody. Additionally, a 24-year-old man from Blackpool was arrested, accused of attempted murder, and remains in custody.
Detective Inspector Dave Little stated that the investigation continues actively. He added that the incident happened at a busy time in a busy location, implying that people were likely nearby.
