Morrisons stores in Cromer and Kings Lynn face heating problems with staff enduring freezing conditions and customers discomfort.

Now, Cromer’s Morrisons store on Holt Road also has problems. Staff there are shivering and wearing lots of clothes because their heating system broke earlier this month.
These broken heating issues remain unresolved in King’s Lynn. Cromer store employees also face a potentially long wait. Two broken boilers cause the problems, according to staff. Morrisons says they are working hard to fix them.
Helen Reed, a Cromer shopper, noticed the cold staff. She said they wore coats and layers of clothing. She believes staff and customers deserve comfort, adding, it’s 2025, not the Victorian era.
Brenda Carol Ward thinks employers should offer warm clothes. Snowsuits might suit the Morrisons staff, she suggested. People believed King’s Lynn’s heating would be fixed in January, however, that fix never happened.
Morrisons apologized for any inconvenience caused by the boiler issues. They stated they are working with maintenance partners and aim to resolve the problem quickly.
