A young biker was stopped in Wick for weaving. He claimed it was to dodge potholes on Glamis Road.

He was riding his motorcycle on Glamis Road when police saw him swerving all over the place. They pulled him over, and it sounds pretty serious.
The police charged him with careless driving. Glamis Road has lots of potholes, though, and many other streets in Caithness are also bad.
The police said he sped, maybe over 20 mph, but the prosecutor said the road was in poor shape. Parked cars made things even harder to navigate.
The guy had borrowed the bike from his brother. His lawyer said he dodged the potholes, but he admitted going slightly over the speed limit.
He was only sixteen when it happened and is now in the army, doing great. His lawyer asked the court not to suspend his license because it would affect his army driving.
The sheriff heard the story and spoke to him, saying he will not see him again in court. The court fined him £240, and he also got four penalty points on his license.
