Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire residents can nominate local businesses starting February 25th for 21 award categories.
Hey, guess what’s starting tomorrow? Local business awards are happening! February 25th kicks off the nomination period, and Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire residents can nominate businesses. There are 21 different award categories this year.
Five businesses with the most nominations advance to regional finals in April. National awards will then happen in June. The Garden Rooms was nominated last year.
They added four new categories this year: “Best Family Experience,” “Best Sports and Fitness Instructor,” “Best Wellbeing Specialist,” and “Best Women’s Style.”
Last year saw 35,000 business nominations and 515,000 votes nationwide. Watford had two finalists; The Garden Rooms competed for Best Bar, and Seneb Therapies was up for best salon/clinic.
Other categories exist too, such as “Best Restaurant”, “Best Arts, Culture and Theatre”, and “Best Family Experience.” Nominations close on March 13th, and voting for regional finals begins March 25th.
