A neighbor spied on Debbie Wearing in her home. William Nolan, 62, had a spare key. Debbie, 67, trusted him to feed her cat. Nolan planted bugs in Debbie’s house instead. He put them under a coffee table and on her headboard. She found the devices and then set up a webcam.

The camera caught Nolan retrieving a bug. He seemed agitated that one was missing. Nolan then left to find other devices. The court jailed him for 15 weeks. He admitted stalking without any distress claim.

Debbie still does not know why he did it. Debbie thinks it was sexually motivated. She says you can’t always trust those around you.

The stalking began in 2020. Debbie had lived next to Nolan for 30 years. Her partner found a black box under the table. She learned it was a listening device online.

Police needed more proof to act. So, she set up webcams to catch him. She told Nolan’s wife she would be out. Nolan walked right into Debbie’s trap. He looked for his hidden spyware.

Now, Debbie supports Shirley Ballas. Ballas was a stalking victim for six years. Kyle Shaw is charged with causing her distress. He will appear in court soon. Debbie feels for Ballas. She says stalking happens to celebrities and anyone. She urges people to report stalking to the police quickly.
