New B&M Garden Center Taking Shape at Teesside Park

They are building something new at a discount store. Workers were busy for a whole month, and this addition grows the existing store by parking space. The store is 34,686 square feet.

A garden center will soon open in the parking lot of the store. Metal fences now surround the area where the garden center is expected to open around March 15. Shipping containers are also there now.

A green fence marks the garden center’s edge, connecting it to the old Toys R Us building. New pictures show this fence, which defines the garden center’s space.

B&M opened there in November 2023. They planned the extension for spring or summer 2024, but that original plan did not happen. They then moved the opening to this spring.

Details about what they’ll sell are still secret, although other B&M stores sell garden tools, fencing, and compost. Decking is also usually available.

Sports Direct is closing its current store and moving nearby to something larger. This comes just days after closing signs appeared, and it will be a big change.

The new Sports Direct will combine stores, using the old Laura Ashley and Argos spaces. USC and MenKind stores are also part of it, and the new unit will be huge.

Work is progressing at the new Sports Direct. The council approved new signs and logos, and vinyls and luxury brand logos will be on the glass. The store will look impressive.
