Helen & Douglas House opens a charity shop in Stroud’s Five Valleys, supporting children’s hospice care.

This shop will raise money for a great cause. The hospice supports kids with serious illnesses, and they also help their families. It’s a crucial support during tough times.
The store is going where Priyanka used to be. It’s on King Street, near Curio Lounge and EE. They start setting up in March, and the grand opening is April 3rd at 11 AM.
This charity started back in 1982. It inspired other children’s hospices around the world. Now, there are 54 more in the UK alone. That’s pretty amazing, right?
They already have 24 shops. These shops, donations, and fundraising are vital. They need £6 million yearly to keep running. Shopping in Stroud will directly support local families.
The store will sell donated items, and you can find clothes, furniture, and cool collectables. Many are from well-known brands. Your purchases really help nearby families.
Helen & Douglas House got an “outstanding” rating from The Care Quality Commission. It shows they put families first. That’s truly admirable.
They plan to offer volunteering too. You can shop or help out; either way, it will make an impact.
