Friends of New Milton Station reveal mural commemorating its history and the town’s 1886 origins.

The Friends of New Milton Station made it. This artwork joins Britain’s railway bicentennial. The unveiling happens at the station on March 15th.
The mural shows the station’s 1886 build and highlights rail travel changes. It also highlights New Milton’s growth.
Everyone can come to the midday event. The Sangrose Ensemble will play music. The WI provides cake, and kids get whistles.
Nicky Judd, a volunteer, made the mural. Sign Envy turns it into big vinyl. They will put it up for the north station.
Nick Saunders did historical research, while Bashley Landscaping provided support. Mitchells gave money, and Pure Kitchens & Carpentry helped, with The Tower Radio sponsoring too.
Mandy Hayes chairs the Friends group. She, along with volunteers, made this possible.
Mandy said this idea came last May. The group is thrilled to see it happen, and they hope folks will love it.
