Warrington Council approves new signage for Shurgard on Winwick Road, replacing Lok ‘n’ Store after a recent ownership change.

They started building it in spring 2021. An old car garage was there before. Lookers Vauxhall was torn down in late 2020. Lookers closed in May 2018. Vauxhall cut back on UK dealerships.
The storage building has been up for three years. Now they’re changing the brand. New signs are going up soon. The council okayed one flat sign.
They also approved three lit-up wall signs. The signs will say Shurgard self-storage. This replaces the Lok ‘n’ Store name. Orange will become the new color.
Documents state the signs give directions and help people find Shurgard self-storage. Ownership changed from Lok ‘n’ Store to Shurgard. The signs fit the building’s style and suit the area’s mixed-use look.
Clear directions help with road safety. Helping people navigate the site is important. This improves safety around the building.
