Enjoy arts, plays & workshops this half-term at Corn Exchange Newbury and The Base Greenham. Events for kids of all ages!

“Four Seasons,” a family play, happens soon. It runs February 21 to February 23. Little Bulb, an award winner, created the show. It uses puppets and physical comedy. The music matches the changing seasons.
The Corn Exchange has a club called “Create and Make.” It runs February 17 to February 21. Kids explore art and learn skills there. Sessions cover different, fun topics.
The Base Greenham also has events. Kids aged 6-11 can join art club. Dates are February 17 to February 20. The club boosts creativity and expression.
The Base hosts its first Family Day on February 20 and is art-focused. It takes inspiration from Yinka Shonibare’s art. Families can do crafts and explore art. They can see artist studios, too.
Kids can make books on February 22 at the “Children’s Concertina Book Workshop.” The workshop teaches simple bookmaking. It is for kids aged seven and up.
The Base has printmaking on the same day at the “Children’s Hybrid Printmaking” workshop. Shonibare’s art inspires this workshop too.
