Concept Players do “Sunset Boulevard.” It’s a musical set in Hollywood’s golden age, telling Norma Desmond’s tale. Hear songs like “With One Look” in Newport and Penarth. Shows run from February 27 to March 1 at the Paget Rooms in Penarth.

Newport Pantomime Society presents “Snow White” at the Dolman Theatre. See it February 25 to March 1 with tickets costing £13. This classic is great for families.

“The Very Hungry Caterpillar Show” comes to the Riverfront Theatre with 75 puppets. Watch from February 25 to 27, with tickets costing £13.50 to £15.50. Eric Carle’s stories come alive on stage.

“Tidy” will be at the Riverfront Theatre on February 26 and 27. Based on Emily Gravett’s book, the show teaches about caring for Earth. This show is well-suited for young children.

Class Act Theatre performs “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” at the Drill Hall, Chepstow. Shows run from February 20 to 22, accompanied by Aerosmith’s music. This version is for ages 12 and up.

A football camp is at the Velodrome on February 24 for kids aged 8 to 12. The four-hour session starts at 10 am, and lunch is included.

The Regional Pool hosts a tennis workshop on February 24 for kids aged 4 to 6. The one-hour session helps kids improve balance, agility, and coordination.

Blaenavon World Heritage Centre holds activities all week. On February 25, see “We Are Guardians,” a planetarium space show. On February 26, make bath bombs, an activity for kids aged 9 and over. Pre-booking is a must for each event.
