Four Newport residents face drug charges after warrants were carried out. They appeared in court and remain in custody.
A nineteen-year-old man faces many charges, including drug dealing and conspiracy charges involving cocaine, heroin, and cannabis. He is also charged with possessing criminal property and had cocaine to supply.
A nineteen-year-old woman faces similar charges. She conspired to supply cocaine, heroin, and cannabis and possessed criminal property. She intended to supply cocaine, too.
A thirty-year-old man also faces drug charges. He conspired to supply cocaine and heroin, and supplying cocaine is one charge. He conspired to supply cannabis and possessed criminal property as well, with intent to supply cocaine.
A twenty-five-year-old man was charged, too. He conspired to supply heroin and cannabis.
All four appeared in Newport’s court on Saturday, February 22. They remain in custody after the court appearance.
An eighteen-year-old man was also arrested. Police released him on bail, and their investigation continues at this time. They set conditions for his release.
