Hey, listen to this! Police did raids February 20 in Newport. They went to Alway and Bettws.

The police shared a video showing officers using a chainsaw to enter a home. Officers found cash, phones, and Class A drugs.

Two 19-year olds, a man and a woman, got arrested and are suspected of drug supply. They might have planned to sell drugs. A 30-year-old man was arrested too and is suspected of drug dealing; he might have planned to sell drugs and may have had criminal property.

An 18-year-old man was also arrested, and police think he supplied Class A drugs. All four are from Newport and are still in custody while the police investigation continues.

PC Jack Passmore spoke about how public tips help fight drug crimes. He wants people to report concerns because drug crimes cause misery and hurt vulnerable people.
