Nine raids seized £4.5m of cannabis across Norfolk County. Ten arrests were made as part of Operation Millie combating drug dealing.

The biggest find happened in Great Ellingham at West Carr Road Industrial Estate. Officers seized cannabis on February 18th, finding 154 kilograms of dried cannabis and 1,757 plants. The estimated street value was around £4 million.
Two more raids happened in Great Yarmouth. On January 24th, they found 332 plants worth £66,000 on Wellesley Road. On February 6th, they found 1,291 plants worth £250,000, in a raid on Southtown Road.
On February 19th, police searched Orange Grove in Wisbech, and on February 20th, they searched St Augustines Street in Norwich. Each location had 302 plants, with the plants at each place worth £60,000.
Police raided Hockham Street in King’s Lynn twice, on February 12th and February 20th, finding 110 plants total worth £20,000. On Harleston Road, Rushall, cops grabbed 770 plants worth £154,000 on February 20th. February 23rd saw another King’s Lynn raid; at Old Sunway, police found 55 plants worth £10,000.
Detective Superintendent Matt Barden, who leads the operation in Norfolk, spoke. He said cannabis money funds other illegal activities. Police work all year to stop drug networks and aim to protect vulnerable people, emphasizing they need the community’s help.
