A new free app ‘CE4U’ launched by North Ayrshire Council helps young people with housing, jobs, health, and entitlements.

The app took about a year and a half to build. Local students helped create it. It gives info on lots of things, like housing, travel, and health advice. It also shares recipes and job openings. You can even learn about entitlements.
A council member, Alan Hill, thanked the students. They shared what support they needed. The students attended Champions Board meetings, and helped point out where help was lacking.
The young people suggested the app because they wanted info in one easy place. They wanted to access support on their phones and learn at their convenience.
The council uses this app for their parenting role and wants to help care-experienced people in Scotland. They legally must offer this support. Alan Hill also says the council will help, as they want everyone to feel safe and supported, especially those with care experience.
They are planning a job fair just for people with care experience. The fair will happen sometime in April.
