Jessica Bailey shared photos of someone changing in a Northwich bathroom, leading to a court appearance and distress for the victim.

She admitted to sharing some photos. These photos showed someone intimate. She shared them to cause distress and meant to humiliate the person.
The court learned she was twenty-two. She took photos in a Northwich bathroom while the victim was changing clothes.
She sent the photos on her phone on April 27 and July 29, 2024. Scott Woodward prosecuted the case. He said Bailey sent pictures to people, saying, “Because I can” when asked why.
The defense stated Bailey had meningitis when she was four years old. They said she struggles with complications and may struggle with choices.
She had no similar convictions. However, she was convicted in 2022 for a public order offense.
Magistrates noted her age and the lack of similar offenses. But they said it was “very serious” and the victim felt great distress.
The court ordered a pre-sentencing report. Bailey must return March 11 to Chester Magistrates Court.
Bailey was released on bail with conditions. She cannot contact the victim or any witnesses.
