Four individuals will be sentenced for affray following a violent brawl at Revolucion de Cuba in Norwich.

It all started at the Queen Street bar. Door staff kicked out someone’s sister because they thought she was using drugs. Buckingham, Justin, Gary, and Culling have a court date on Wednesday, February 19.
The court heard that a brawl broke out. Buckingham acted aggressively toward the staff there, and one doorman feared for his life in the fight. He said he was protecting himself during it.
A staffer got dragged to the floor before the fight moved outside. It spilled onto Queen Street after midnight, September 7, and the group kicked at doors outside. Someone picked up a bollard and threw it.
The bollard hit the doors and windows. Door staff got punched repeatedly in the chaos, and people in public even pulled some of the group away. A security worker received bite marks on his arm and thigh.
It’s unclear who bit him during the altercation, but windows, doors, and plant pots were also damaged. The defendants’ lawyer, Ian Fisher, spoke in court, saying the situation was unpleasant for everyone.
He stated that the sister got wrongly accused and ejected quickly. This ejection, he said, started a chain reaction. Buckingham got conditional bail from the court, while the other three people received unconditional bail.
