Misha Goddard and Connor Furlow jailed for a knifepoint robbery at Best Choice store on Norwich Road, Lowestoft. Sentences given at court.

Goddard received 45 months in jail, and Furlow got 32 months for the robbery. The Best Choice store on Norwich Road was robbed on October 16.
The pair entered the shop to buy a drink. They returned five to ten minutes later, then Furlow pulled out a knife and told the worker not to move at all.
Goddard, while being out of prison on licence, tried to open the till. She couldn’t open the drawer at that point, so she pulled the whole till out, and the plug came out of the wall.
Both of them left the store, taking the till with them. Detectives quickly found Goddard, and she was arrested two days later. Furlow was arrested on October 29.
Detective Constable Georgie Read, who works at Lowestoft Police Station, commented on the crime. Read expressed the police’s stance, stating that businesses and workers cannot become targets, especially those using violence.
Read stated that stealing is bad, and waving knives is worse; people just work. The sentences reflect the crime’s severity, and because Goddard is a repeat offender, her sentence was longer.
Hopefully, she will reflect in prison. Goddard was out on licence before this event. She got 32 months on September 13, 2023, for a similar crime at a shop on Beresford Road, and her new term will run at the same time.
