A new cafe called Number 9 is now open in Great Sankey. It serves food, coffee, and cakes in a cosy and welcoming space.
Now, she is learning business skills as she goes. The coffee shop sits on Huntley Street in Great Sankey. Chloe Shankland and Jon Strange own Number 9. Its full address is 9 Huntley Street, Great Sankey, Warrington, WA5 1EQ. They opened in October of 2024.
Chloe believes Number 9 has gorgeous decor. She also thinks they have the best staff. Jon grew up in Great Sankey. Chloe is from Cockermouth, Cumbria. They got the keys last February. Fixing the flat took four months.
After, they worked on the coffee shop during summer. They wanted a cozy and welcoming place. They serve great food, coffee, and cakes plus also reused old items.
Number 9 opens every day of the week. Weekdays they open at 7 AM. Saturdays they open at 8 AM and Sundays at 9 AM.
Food service stops at 2 PM daily. Coffee and cakes are available all day long. You can also rent the venue. They plan to host evening events. Chloe always wanted to own a café. Now her dream has come true.
She worked in finance. Jon is an electrician. They learn the rest as they go. They serve great food within a beautiful space. Also, they hire fantastic people. Customers really love their food and coffee. Their coffee comes from the Lake District.
They hope to have continued growth. Also, they want to become part of the community.
