Residents of Ouse View enjoyed a concert, a film, prosecco, and birthday joy on Valentine’s Day.

Thea and Laura performed classical love songs. Music included pieces by Bernstein and Dvořák. They played Puccini and Grieg too. Grieg’s song was sung in Norwegian.
Residents enjoyed the concert. They each had a glass of prosecco, and everyone seemed very happy. They watched the film ‘Brief Encounter’ later. Sweet treats were given out during the movie. It made for a cozy afternoon.
Margot, a resident, said it was a lovely day. She really liked the classical music and the prosecco was a nice surprise.
They also sang some songs together. “Some Enchanted Evening” was sung from South Pacific. They spontaneously sang “Maria” too, which came from West Side Story.
Doris celebrated her birthday that day. Thea sang “Happy Birthday” to her, and that was a very special moment.
