Hassan Hussain, aged 25, went to trial. He was accused of trying to kill Kane Khan. The stabbing occurred near Oxford Central Mosque on March 13 last year.

Khan was at the mosque for an event. After being stabbed, he sought help inside and required hospital treatment for a serious injury to his stomach.

Hussain lived on Nye Bevan Close in Oxford. He faced charges for attempted murder, as well as causing serious harm. The trial concluded on Friday, February 7.

Hussain wasn’t guilty of attempted murder; however, the jury found him guilty of grievous bodily harm. His sentencing is scheduled for April 4 in the same court.

Shahroz Khan, 24, and Bilal Khan, 25, faced trial too. They were charged with conspiracy to murder and conspiracy to cause serious harm.

Shahroz allegedly acted as a spotter at the mosque, supposedly telling Hussain about Kane Khan. Bilal allegedly drove them from Oxford afterward.

Both men claimed they weren’t involved. The jury found them not guilty of all charges. Shahroz will be sentenced on April 4 for separate, unrelated charges.
