Eileen Williams, a vibrant 80-year-old, prepares to run the OX5 Run, supporting Oxford Hospitals Charity with passion.

Eileen celebrated her birthday on Tuesday, February 18. She stays very active and healthy. She goes to the gym often for workouts and jogs with her dog, Buddy, who is a springer spaniel.
She was a community health visitor in Kidlington for 36 years. Eileen also taught health visiting at Brookes University. She runs on March 23; the run is five miles long.
Eileen thinks the event atmosphere is lovely. Blenheim Palace provides a fantastic setup. This year, she involves her daughter-in-law, Dimitra, who will walk the course while Eileen runs.
Buddy will trot right alongside her as they enjoy the moment. Eileen hopes to get more support and put a poster in a local store in the Kidlington supermarket featuring her picture from last year.
Lorna Eaton works for the charity. She said Eileen inspires others so much and shows great energy and passion. The charity wished her a happy birthday.
