Daniel Knorr, an Oxford student, found guilty of conspiracy to cause public nuisance at Manchester Airport.

Margaret Reid, Indigo Rumbelow, and Ella Ward were also guilty. The police arrested all four on August 5, 2024. They were leaving a BnB near Manchester Airport.
The charge was conspiracy. They were held for six months. They got bail on February 4. The trial took fifteen days. Sentencing is on May 23.
They didn’t get bail this time, so they went back to prison. They will wait for sentencing there. They planned to enter the airport. They wanted to glue themselves to the taxiway.
They claimed they wanted to prevent harm. They wanted to warn people about climate risks. Knorr said the judge asked him a question. It was about warning people about disasters.
Knorr asked if that’s what he was trying to do. He feels those stopping harm end up punished. He said those profiting get protected.
Knorr was also in trouble before. He stopped a cricket match in 2023. He threw orange powder on the field. Jonny Bairstow even carried him off.
He also spray-painted Radcliffe Camera orange. That also happened in 2023. Police arrested him at the scene.
