Hey, so something bad happened. It was at Knyveton Gardens in Bournemouth. Volunteers found white paint in the pond on February 11. Someone dumped paint there.

Friends of the garden are really upset. They think the paint killed the fish. They worked hard to improve the gardens. The vandal left paint footprints.

About 15 liters of paint went into the pond. It was water-based paint. The spokesperson said the area’s behavior improved. This act was planned vandalism, they think.

The vandal brought paint to damage the pond. Wood was also dumped in the pond the next day. Dorset Police are investigating now. The gardens are off Southcote Road.

Police got a report about the paint. It happened between February 10 and 11. Police looked into it but made no arrests.

Volunteers hope CCTV can help identify the vandal. Cameras are on Southcote Road. BCP Council came to help fast. They wanted to reduce damage.

They checked if they could save any wildlife. Councillor Kieron Wilson is also upset. He said vandals damaged the gardens a lot.

The parks team is trying to dilute the paint. They are increasing monitoring to stop future problems.
