Gorse Hill and Rainbow Hill officers are talking with drivers, explaining parking laws to them. Officers are working with council parking staff and want to find more off-road parking spots near schools.
PCSO Tom Evans discussed the parking issues, stating that they are working hard on it. As a member of the Safer Neighbourhood team, he mentioned that bad parking is dangerous, risking pedestrians and other drivers.
Bad parking can block emergency vehicles. Police work with partners on enforcement and use parking officers to help out. They resolve issues by raising awareness and other practical solutions.
Evans thanked everyone for their help. Police and the public must cooperate to prevent crime in the community and keep communities safe.
