A passenger died in hospital three weeks after falling at Island Gardens DLR station. Incident is believed to be accidental.

A passenger fell down stairs at the Isle of Dogs station. TfL said the person hurt their head. Paramedics brought the customer to a hospital. Sadly, they died there on January 3.
BTP says the fall seems like an accident. They will send a report to the coroner. News of this came out at a TfL meeting on February 5. The TfL report mentioned other safety issues too.
An Elizabeth line worker died after an attack. This happened at Ilford station on December 4. Another passenger fell from a moving bus. It was near Finchley Road on December 28. They died in a hospital one week later.
A cyclist crashed with a London bus. The crash happened on November 23. This occurred on Westferry Road. The cyclist died at the scene. Another cyclist and bus crashed in Streatham Hill. This happened on December 14. The cyclist died in the hospital two weeks later.
TfL says safety comes first in their work. They don’t accept deaths or injuries. TfL wants to eliminate deaths on London transport by 2041. They aim for zero bus-related deaths by 2030.
