One person was taken to Southmead Hospital by air ambulance after an incident in Swindon’s GWR Park on Friday afternoon.

The air ambulance took one person to Southmead Hospital. GWR park stayed open to the public. The ambulance service got a call at 2 PM. They sent two ambulances and one officer and took a patient to the hospital by air.
Police put a cordon around Temple Street in the town center because of a stabbing. Officers searched the street for evidence. They wanted to find and arrest the person who did it. A man suffered serious injuries and went to a hospital for treatment.
Police said they were at Temple Street in Swindon because someone stabbed a man there. He had serious injuries and needed hospital care. The police expected the cordon to last into the night. Police asked people to stay away from Temple Street.
They were still searching for the suspect and said they would update everyone soon. Their main focus was to find and arrest the suspect.
