The PHS Foundation just made its first gift. It went to Mixit Days, a local group in Stanley. This foundation is linked to Oakes Energy and 0800 Repair.

Mixit Days uses theatre and pop music to help disabled people live fuller lives through fun social events. Everyone is welcome at their activities.

Some employees from 0800 Repair visited Mixit Days, and the Oakes Energy team joined them, too. They hoped to see the charity’s work and learn how the money will help.

Jason Oakes, a director at PHS, believes businesses should help others. The PHS Foundation is a new way for them to do that, and it’s only the start for their community work.

Oakes says they want to be involved locally and help those who support them. He called Mixit Days really fantastic, noting it helps people become confident individuals.

The donation shows they care about making a real difference, and it’s the beginning of their support. They want to assist more local projects next to improve lives in the future.

John Hails, who directs Mixit Days group programs, voiced great thanks for PHS Foundation’s support. The money will really help their members, allowing them to expand their activities further now.

Hails said they are creating a safe space for people and values PHS investment. He enjoys knowing companies care about folks, and they all feel grateful for the gesture.
