Someone wants to build houses near Holsworthy. The plan includes ten new homes on two acres. A village called Sutcombe may see this change. Three homes will be available for social rent.

The building site faces St Andrew’s Close. A path and play area will connect to it. Sutcombe needs new homes, says its own plan. They want at least twenty-three more houses.

This will help balance the local community. It should also support the local economy and environment. Mr. D. Furse made the building plans. Torridge Council may approve them soon.

They will finalize home designs later. This includes sizes, layouts, and infrastructure details. Affordable housing details are coming, too. Homes will have two, three, or four bedrooms.

Old plans existed for the land. Back in the 1980s, it was for a store. A launderette and a house were also planned. These older building permissions ran out.

Trewin Design Architects work for the applicant. They believe this project helps the area. Construction jobs will become available. More people can move to the area. This will help local businesses thrive.
