An 84-year-old man is in critical condition after an XL bully attack. Police shot and killed two dogs at the scene.

The attacker was a suspected unregistered XL bully dog. The guy lives nearby. They took him to Aintree Hospital.
Police say he’s critical but stable right now. Police arrested a woman about it. They are looking for a 40-year-old man too.
Police shot and killed the dog. Another XL bully was at the same place. Police also destroyed that second dog. The police chief said it took nineteen shots. All shots hit their targets.
The chief said it was a terrible attack. The man was just walking down the street. He said these dogs are like dangerous weapons. He also said they are powerful and unpredictable.
He thinks this will affect the man forever. He noted the public knows these dogs are dangerous. Cheshire Police work hard to enforce the new rules. They want to keep everyone safe.
Police removed over 100 XL bullies already. They are serious about the new rules. They will hold people accountable. Check gov.uk for details on XL bully dog laws.
