Ryedale police investigate alleged overcharging by builders in Amotherby. They are asking for the public’s assistance.
Police need your help in Ryedale. They released CCTV images of a man. Officers want to talk to him about some incidents. These happened in Amotherby.
These incidents involve possible scam builders who quote a price for work, then do extra work without asking, and demand payment afterward. This happened on Cherry Tree Walk over the weekend into Monday, February 15-17.
The police are asking for info about the builders and their vehicle to help identify them. Police think two other men are involved.
The pictured man was in a van that is grey or blue and has Irish license plates. If you know anything, email Calum Sutherland.
