Okay, listen to this. It happened February 24th around 10:30 PM. Police went to Bay Road in Bracknell near Deepfield Road’s junction. Someone hit a pedestrian with a car. The car involved was a black Ford.

The driver didn’t stop after the crash. They found a similar car later crashed into a bollard on Opladen Way near Leaves Green’s junction. The driver had run away on foot.

The person hit went to the hospital and sadly, she later died from her injuries. Family liaison officers are helping her family. The police arrested a Bracknell man, age 32.

He was arrested for several offenses including causing death by dangerous driving and driving while disqualified. He also drove without insurance and left the scene. He’s been released on bail while the police investigation is still ongoing.

A Bracknell woman, age 30, was also arrested. She’s suspected of perverting justice, assisting an offender, and causing serious injury by dangerous driving. Finally, she is charged with failing to stop and has been released under investigation.
