Poole bus station faced 87 offenses in 2024. Authorities are working to improve safety after many anti social incidents.

David Sidwick, Dorset’s police and crime commissioner, met with Neil Duncan-Jordan, the MP for Poole, about it. Sidwick stated the police are working to fix things and trying to reduce anti-social behavior.
He said things improved; 87 offences happened in 2024, compared to 214 offences in 2022. Still, there are problems, as a video showed a boy attacked last June circulated a lot online.
Sidwick said the site has physical changes now, and they also added more CCTV cameras. He wants people to feel safe at the station, stating, “Work will continue,” to the public.
Sidwick knows feeling safe isn’t only about statistics; he knows it is very important to residents. He said anti-social behavior is low now, the lowest it has been since 2007/2008! He wants people to report issues to Dorset Police by calling 101.
