They also get help with social activities. Inspectors visited on January 14. The service supported fifteen people then. Some things needed to be fixed from a prior visit. Three out of four fixes missed the deadline, which was January 10.
Medication handling, personal plans, and the complaints policy needed updates. The report mentioned safety, stating staff must handle medicine safely. Each person needs an updated care plan that addresses health and safety.
Equipment for mobility must work well. The complaints policy should be followed, as it builds trust among families. Good financial records also build trust. One rule got fixed on time; it related to mobility equipment ensuring it is in good working order.
Blackwood feels proud of St Leonard’s legacy, having given support and care for a long time. Blackwood stated they usually get “very good” grades. The last inspection showed areas needing work. The local team is fixing them.
