Hey, guess what? Popeyes just opened a restaurant. It’s on Broadway, right by Wingstop.

This new place will create eighty jobs. They have seventy-two seats inside, plus twelve seats outside. People can use kiosks to order and pick up online orders fast.

This is their sixth spot in Yorkshire, and their sixty-ninth in the whole country. They had a band called The Brass Funkeys play New Orleans music.

The fried chicken place had special deals. The first three in line got a year of free sandwiches, which means three sandwiches each week. The first one hundred customers got a free sandwich and Popeyes UK stuff.

The restaurant opened Friday morning. Tom Crowley, the Popeyes UK CEO, said they offer tasty food and a friendly vibe. He wants to bring New Orleans flavors to Bradford.

Ian Ward, who is in charge at The Broadway, said they’re happy to get Popeyes and thinks it’ll be popular with shoppers. It’s the first new brand this year for them, and he looks forward to the excitement.
