PM reaffirms commitment to City Village with £30m boost. Project includes homes, offices, and parks on old industrial land.

The project will build many things, including homes, offices, and cafes. Retail space and parks are planned too. They will build it across three city center spots.
Most of the building will happen soon. The Kirkgate Shopping Centre will be demolished, and the Oaster Market will also be torn down. They plan to build homes on Westgate car parks. About 1,000 homes are part of this project.
Bradford Council chose a development partner, ECF, to help make the project happen. ECF is a team of organizations, including Homes England, Legal & General, and Muse.
Councilor Alex Ross-Shaw spoke about the funding, saying the government trusts Bradford. The funding helps the regeneration move forward, and they aim for high-quality, affordable homes for Bradford’s next generation. These homes will also bring modern city amenities.
