Princess Anne visited Include Suffolk Catch 22 in Ipswich, meeting students & staff and touring the school.

Catch22 runs the school, which helps kids who need extra support. The school began in September 2024, after they changed an office building to make it.
Anne supports the charity and wanted to see their work. They help kids excluded from regular schools. The Princess met teachers and kids there.
Important people came too! Yvonne Gilchrist Mason was there representing Suffolk. Ipswich Mayor Elango Elavalakan also attended, along with people from Suffolk County Council and National Grid representatives.
They toured the school, and Headteacher Daryl Bates showed them around. He highlighted programs for the kids; the Princess Royal saw these activities.
She observed a reading lesson that helped younger kids learn to build their reading abilities. Later, kids showed their artwork during assembly.
Kids made art from recycled stuff! The theme was “This is Me,” and they showed their creativity and unique selves. Ms. Bates is very proud of her school.
The school earned a “Good” rating from Ofsted. She said the visit was a testament to their hard work, as staff and learners create a supportive space. The Princess Royal acknowledged their efforts.
