A protest led to police removing a convicted paedophile from his Cwmbran home for his own safety.

Police even stopped counting them all. Most child victims were between ages six and twelve. Judge Eugene Egan jailed Taylor for 14 months, but they suspended the sentence for 18 months.
Taylor faces a 10-year sexual harm prevention order. Police will watch his internet use very closely. He admitted he broke this order four times. This happened on February 14 at Newport Magistrate’s Court.
Taylor bought a computer in November 2024. He also accessed the internet, which he wasn’t allowed to do. People in Northville found out about this. They gathered near his home on Pontnewydd Walk.
Police then took him away. Gwent Police put him in a police car. This was shown on a Facebook livestream.
Police said they went to Pontnewydd around 2:30 pm. About 20 people were gathered there. Officers made sure everyone stayed safe. No crimes occurred, and the group left by 3:30 pm.
Taylor has not returned home yet. He will be sentenced later this year. Crown Court will address these violations.
