Pudsey: Traffic Lights Installed on Kent Road Due to College Construction
The road work runs from February 24 to May 14. They work from 8 am to 6 pm each day, and three-way traffic lights will help traffic flow. Social media shows mixed feelings about this.
One person said it’s becoming dangerous and cited parking problems near the Kent Road market. Kids walking onto the crosswalk and another person mentioned trouble leaving Acres Hall.
Caddick Construction apologized for any issues and appreciates locals’ patience during this time. The college is near Crawshaw Academy on Kent Road; they are also building parking, roads, and utilities.
The new building will house 600 students aged 16 to 18. Luminate Education Group supports this project which expands education in West Leeds. Partner schools benefit, like Leeds Sixth Form College.
