A race night at the Post Box Sports Bar will help St. Michael’s Hospice and Autism Hampshire. Enjoy raffles, shuffleboard, and fun!

Matt Payne, who runs with Hatch Warren Runners, helps organize the event. The group recently lost friends who had spent time at the hospice. Matt wants to give back, and he knows Wayne, the bar owner.
The bar supports St. Michael’s Hospice, so a joint event seemed like a good fit. Wayne Lee-Buckland partnered with the hospice at an event on November 7. This race night is their first joint event, one Matt believes will be fun.
They will have a bullseye challenge and a shuffleboard team competition. The raffle has great prizes, worth lots of money, including a coffee machine, go-karting passes, and a family pass to High Score Arcades, among other items.
Louise Gough, who works for St. Michael’s Hospice, praised the event organizers. She emphasized that the event will raise important funds to aid the hospice, adding that it will be a fun evening that helps local people who need hospice care. Only 16% of their money comes from the government. End-of-life care is essential, not extra.
They need donations to keep running and require £15,000 daily. Matt also supports Autism Hampshire because his children were diagnosed with autism. He feels grateful to raise money for them.
Tickets are available for purchase at the Post Box Sports Bar.
